Support Groups
Seeds of Hope provides support groups and educational sessions for those suffering from eating
disorders, as well as for families and friends.
Individuals Suffering From Eating Disorders:
Seeds of Hope provides 3 different support group genres: adolescent girls, young women
and mature women. We believe that age oriented support groups foster age appropriate communication,
content, and a higher level of confidence which is very critical for a successful outcome and experience.
Educational sessions are also offered to teach recovery methods, nutritional information, create safe
situations, etc.
Seeds of Hope support groups are mediated by successfully recovered individuals
along with assistance and education from experienced accredited healthcare professionals within the
eating disorder field.
Families and Friends:
Seeds of Hope provides support groups for families and friends offering fellowship
and support. We believe that families and friends also need a safe haven to tell their stories and
learn best practices for helping and supporting their loved ones. Our support groups also include
education and information sessions with experienced accredited healthcare professionals within
the eating disorder field.
